The spectacular production by
Jamie Lloyd, Apologia features the prestigiousTony and Emmy Award-winning star
Stockard Channing. The show made its original debut in the year 2008 at the
Bush Theatre. The classic London show by Alexi Kate Campbell is running at Trafalgar
Studios for a limited summer season.
The brand new London show, Apologia
revolves around Kristin Miller, who is a feisty, liberal matriarch, political
activist and hugely talented as well as famous art historian. The story of
Apologia is set against the backdrop of
deep in the English countryside. The show commences with her birthday celebrations where her memoirs is
announced. , her sons’ harboured resentment toward her surfaces. Her family
starts quizzing their achievements, as well as the sacrifices made are worth or
not.
Wonderful actress Stockard
Channing is renowned for her iconic role as Rizzo in the hit 1978 film Grease.
Some of her remarkable works include The West Wing, The Good Wife and has had
an Oscar-nominated role in Six Degrees of Separation. She has worked in Broadway
also where she had her Tony Award-winning role in A Day in the Death of Joe
Egg, as well as Other Desert Cities, Pal Joey and It’s Only a Play.

The magnificent London show is
running at Trafalgar Studios from July 29th to November 18th
2017. The show is a delightful experience under the direction of Lloyd followed
by other popular Trafalgar Studio successes such as star-studded The Maids, The
Homecoming and The Ruling Class. Alexi Kate Campbell’s other works include the
Olivier Award-winning The Pride, as well as The Faith Machine at the Royal
Court.
