The hugely loved classic American saga is revived at the London Westend stage for theatre lovers. The magnificent show has earlier launched the career of one of the most prominent faces of Hollywood, Catherine Zeta Jones in 1984. The show also won huge acclamations and awards. The story of 42nd Street revolves around a young girl, Peggy Sawyer, who has left her small American home town and arrived to New York. Here she is all set to be the part of Broadway’s newest show.

The hugely anticipated London show, 42nd Street has come to London with a high-kicking and all features an all singing cast of over 50 actors. Catch some wonderful performances from Sheena Easton as Dorothy Brock alongwith 50 powerpacked performers such as Tom Lister as Julian Marsh, Clare Halse as Peggy Sawyer, Jasna Ivir as Maggie Jones, Norman Bowman as Pat Denning, Stuart Neal as Billy Lawlor, Graeme Henderson as Andy Lee, Christopher Howell as Bert Barry, Bruce Montague as Abner Dillon, Mark McKerracher as Mac/Doc/Thug and Emma Caffrey as Annie.

Randy Skinner’s brilliant choreography is remarkable. Some of his works include Gower Champion’s 1980 landmark production of 42nd Street, and 2001 revival. The mesmerizing musical numbers are the major highlights of the popular shows such as We’re In the Money, Shuffle Off To Buffalo, Dames, Lullaby of Broadway, I Only Have Eyes for You and the title track itself, 42nd Street. Mark Bramble’s superb direction is worth watching as he has also been the original co-author of the book of the very first Broadway and West End productions. He has also been the director of the 2001 revival of 42nd Street.

42nd Street is an all singing and dancing affair which has recreated the magic of Broadway back on Theatre Royal Drury Lane on London. The two hours and forty minutes show is recommended for 5+ kids.
