After a hugely successful run at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, The Exorcist is all set to give you a remarkable horror time at the London Westend for a strictly limited season under the spectacular production of Bill Kenwright. The novel was penned in 1971 and also regarded as one of the finest movies by William Friedkin. The movie was released in the year 1973 starring Linda Blair and Ellen Burstyn. This was also stated as one of the scariest movies of all time, as it has prestigious two-time Academy Award-winning screenplay. Moreover, it is also amongst the top ten all-time highest grossing films.

Story of The Exorcist is inspired from a real life saga of a young girl, Regan. She is experiencing some strange symptoms and is unable to diagnosed medically. As her mother Chris is left with no other option, she desperately turned to the Church for help and convinced Father Damien for his assistance to her. Both of them have to face a series of horrifying events. The first stage production of the world premiere was in Los Angeles in the year2012 and was adapted by John Pielmeier. The show made its reappearance in the UK in 2016.

Under the brilliant direction of Sean Mathias, whose recent credit includes No Man’s Land to the West End, the show is an awesome experience. Olivier Award-winner Anna Fleischle designed the show, as well as lighting design by Tim Mitchell and illusion design by Ben Hart, with sound and original compositions by Adam Cork.

Phoenix theatre is all ready to host the scariest of all the stories, The Exorcist for a limited run i.e. from October 20th to March 10th 2018. If you are vying for some supernatural experience then go for The Exorcist.
