Get set for a legendary rock album, Bat Out Of Hell in summer 2017!
The London musical is directed by the award winning Jay Scheib, whereas the
show will go on sale in Dec. 2017. Dominion Theatre will be hosting the exciting
new London musical.
Bat Out of the Hell The musical is the saga of Strat, a man who is
attracted to the daughter of the despotic Falco. The show is a brilliantly directed fast-paced romantic
adventure. The show is set against the backdrop of post-apocalyptic city, where
Strat have to fight against all odds. It is the saga of rebellion, youth and
true love.
One of the major highlights of the hugely anticipated show, Bat Out
Of Hell – The Musical is the chartbusting musical numbers. The show has all the
mesmerizing songs from Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman’s classic 1977 album. Some of
the chartbusting hits included in the show are ‘I’d Do Anything for Love… (But
I Won’t Do That)’, ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ and ‘Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad’.
In the year 1977, the album was finally released, but was not a hit.
The album has become one of the greatest rock albums of all time, after the
sales of over 43 million copies. The original composer Jim Steinman has brought
the songs onstage. In February 2017, Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical will make
its debut in Manchester. This will be
followed by transferring to London later.
Steinman is one of the most popular and immensely successful
composer. He is renowned for his song written with Meat Loaf such as Whistle
Down the Wine which he co-wrote with Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Award winning
American theatre director, Jay Shein will be directing the Bat Out Of Hell – The
Musical. The show is expected to go on sale in autumn 2016 for performances at
the Dominion theatre.
