new musical is set against the backdrop of New York. The show has already light
up New York and now all set to dazzle Arts Theatre of London’s West End this
October.
The lead role of
Sara will be portrayed by Kerry Ellis as the musical mega star Kerry Ellis. She
has portrayed the role of an uptown girl with a downtown past. This gorgeous
girl is amidst a love triangle with two fellow New Yorkers, Tom and Michael.
Love triangle is in itself a complicated, but things become tough when all the
three protagonists are unaware about their objective in life. The situation
becomes desperate and deadly.
The brand new
sensational thriller is penned by by the critically acclaimed Julia Jordan,
whereas Juliana Nash, renowned singer-songwriter has composed the music and penned
lyrics. The show is an outstanding amalgamation of vibrant mix of indie rock
tunes unlike musicals on the West End today.
Murder Ballad is
based on the tradition of ‘murder ballads’ features cautionary dangerous
musical tales which show the darker shades of life. Catch the beautifully
depicted underworld of New York powered by passion and obsession.
Ramin Karimloo
will be one of the alongside Kerry Ellis. He is renowned for its amazing
performances as Jean Valjean in various productions of Les Miserable, leading
roles in Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies. Victoria Hamilton-Barritt
and Norman Bowman in supporting roles will be the supporting cast members. The
show, Murder Ballad will be played at the Arts Theatre in the West End this
autumn. The previews will start on the 29th September 2016 with running time of
90 minutes. The show is recommended for 16+ kids.
