enjoy the rib tickling funny London show, Hay Fever at the Duke of York’s
Theatre! In the hugely acclaimed revival of Noel Coward’s comic show features
Felicity Kendal in the spectacular production of Bath Theatre Royal. The sensational
comic show was written by Noel Coward in the year 1924. It is often referred as
comedy of bad manners and went on becoming one of the most successful shows.
In the year
2012, Hay Fever was shown at the London Westend Noel Coward Theatre which starred
Lindsay Duncan. The story of Hay Fever revolves around Judith Bliss who is a
retired star actress portrayed by Kendall. David is her husband is a novelist
who is a complete egoist, whereas Sorel and Simon are their children who are
wanton bohemians.
For an exciting
weekend, every member of Bliss family invites their friends to their country
house. The guests felt quite uncomfortable as the melodramatic family conducts
flirtations and also force their guests to be a part of their games. Under the
superb direction of Lindsay Posner, the spectacular production is a complete
treat for theatre goers.
In the year
2013, Posner also directed Kendal in Relatively Speaking which was a well
reviewed production. Some other popular credits are Speed-the Plow which
starred Lindsay Lohan and The Winslow Boy!
Kendal is
renowned for her brilliant portrayal in the popular sitcom of 70s, The Good
Life. She also enjoyed huge success in Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia and Humble Boy.
Hay Fever is recommended for 12+ kids and runs for two hours. Noel Coward is
certainly one of the most loved playwrights of Britain and renowned for some
great works such as Private Lives, Relative Values, Blithe Spirit
and the much loved film Brief Encounter.
