of Venice
William Shakespeare’s
classic play, Merchant of Venice is all set to make its debut at the
Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre for a limited season. The show will run from 23rd
April to 7th June and already creating a rage amongst the theatre
lovers. The brilliant show features some of the highly charged scenes of
Shakespeare’s great drama.
The brand new
London show, Merchant of Venice has beautifully dramatized the conflict between
tolerance and intolerance, religious law and civil society, justice and mercy.
The iconic role of Shylock will be portrayed by the Olivier and Tony award
winner Jonanthan Pryce. He is all set to make his first appearance in the
Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
The story
revolves around Portia, who is a wealthy heiress of Belmont is looking for a
husband. This is one of the most controversial plays of Shakespeare. Under the
superb direction of Jonanthan Munby and beautiful designing by Mike Britton,
the show is a complete treat to watch out for. Jules Maxwell’s chartbusting
compositions make the show a delightful experience.

performances from the lead actors make Merchant of Venice worth watching.
