King’s Cross Theatre

The stunning King’s Cross Theatre is located at Good's Way (by King's Boulevard), London,           N1C 4UR in the newly regenerated King’s Cross area of North London. While exiting the King’s Cross Underground, it will follow towards Regent’s Canal. On the other hand, on Goods Way, there is entrance and box office. As the theatre is positioned just in the back side of King’s Cross Station, it signifies that theatre is well-connected with varied ranges of modes of commutations.

With occupancy of 994 and set in traverse, there are two banks of seating. Each bank has 10 rows. The theatre has been constructed in the newly generated area of King Cross. Interestingly, it has been purpose built for the blockbuster and award winning London show, The Railway Children.

In the year 2014, the show made its debut and still making waves amongst the theatre lovers. The venue is a perfect destination to exhibit numerous events such as exhibitions, fashion shows, and concerts. Currently, blockbuster and award winning London show, The Railway Children is running with packed houses.

      Get set for an enjoyable adaptation of E Nesbit’s popular classic novel, The Railway Children at the magnificent King’s Cross Theatre London. Experience the mesmerizing real surroundings with a real train track and outstanding 60 tonne locomotive which steams into the King’s Cross theatre having occupancy of 1000.

      The breathtakingly beautiful brand new shoe, The Railway Children is wowing people from all age groups. The role of Mr. Perks will be portrayed by Sean Hughes, whereas Caroline Harker will be playing the mother.

      The Railway Children is an enjoyable 2 hours and 10 minutes journey of Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis. After the mysterious disappearance of their father, lives of the children change dramatically. They shift from London to rural Yorkshire with their mother in a cottage. During their exciting journey of discovery, friendship and adventure, they befriend a local railway porter, Perks.

      The mystery of their father’s sudden disappearance and whether he would ever return shrouds the gripping saga, The Railway Children. The spectacular London show features a purpose built theatre with 1000 seating occupancy along with railway track and platform.  The show also has live 60-tonne steam locomotive and Gentleman’s Carriage.

      At the National Railway Museum in York, the show was seen for the first time followed by transferring to the Waterloo Station, where it has enjoyed two critically acclaimed sell-out seasons. The Railway Children also won prestigious 2011 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment. Under the superb direction of Damien Cruden, the show simply steals your heart.

      The beautiful show, The Railway Children is running at the King’s Cross Theatre and support the Railway Children Charity which aims to provide aid to homeless and runaway kids from all over the world. The charity will be donated with £1 per ticket!
