If you are an ardent lover of ancient history especially Roman era then get ready to catch the spectacular RSC production, Imperium 1 - Conspirator! If you haven’t yet enjoyed the December production then enjoy the show with your dear ones.

The hugely famous London show is adapted from a series of best-selling novels. Gielgud Theatre is running the show for a strictly limited season. The previews of the spectacular productions play will commence from 14th June 2018 and will start from June 30th to September 8th 2018. Initially the show run at the RSC and later transferred to the Gielgud Theatre. The show will run for a limited 12-week season in the London West End.

The popular show is adapted from best-selling novelist Robert Harris’ Cicero trilogy. The famous historical thriller features six one-act plays in two alternating parts; Imperium I: Conspirator and Imperium II: Dictator. The shows are all about the downfall of the Republic of Rome and immense influence of philosopher and orator Cicero.

The loyal secretary of Cicero has told the story of Imperium I: Conspirator after the early success of rhetorician which leads to a brutal and bloody end of the Republic. The role of Cicero is portrayed by Richard McCabe along with Joseph Kloska portraying the role of his servant Tiro. McCabe is the winner of Tony and Olivier Award as well as earned huge acclamation for his role in The Audience. He is also known for BBC’s Collateral as well as for a role in Netflix’s The Crown.

Other members of Imperium 1: Conspirator are are Nicholas Boulton, Guy Burgess, Daniel Burke, Jade Croot, Peter De Jersey, Joe Dixon, John Dougall, Michael Grady-Hall, Oliver Johnstone, Paul Kemp, Patrick Knowles, Hywel Morgan, David Nicolle, Siobhan Redmond, Patrick Romer, Christopher Saul, Eloise Secker and Simon Thorp. Under the superb direction of Gregory Doran, Imperium is a must watch show. Mike Poulton has adapted for the stage version and also known for critically-acclaimed adaptations of Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. Both the show played in the West End in the year 2014. The immensely creative team of the Imperium are designer Anthony Ward, lighting designer Mark Henderson and sound designer Claire Windsor, with compositions by Paul Englishby.
