The immensely anticipated musical
in London Westend, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical has already created a
stir n Broadway. From 10th February 2015, the blockbuster musical is
all set to make its entry into the Aldwych Theatre of London. The story
revolves around the immensely talented multi-award winning singer/songwriter,
Carole King.

Beautiful –The Carole King Musical shows the early life of Carole King and her
growth from a shy teenager to a superstar. The brand new London show is all set
to steal your hearts under the superb direction of Marc Bruni. The story also
deals with the relationship which she shares with her husband who is also a
song writing partner, Gerry Goffin.
The show also portrays her
friendship with Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, who are her song writing rivals.
At the young age of 17, her first hit was sold and it was “Will You Love Me
Tomorrow”. She was writing some of the greatest hits with biggest names of the
music industry by the age of 21. Some of the notable names with whom Carole
worked are The Drifters, The Shirelles, Aretha Franklin and The Monkees.

Musical finely exhibits her struggles and commendable confidence. She
beautifully balances all her responsibilities of wife, mother and a greatly
talented artist. With the passage of time, her relationship with Gerry starts
breaking down and her talent made her a huge star.

musical, whereas lyrics and music by Gerry Goffin, Carole King, Barry Mann and
Cynthis Weil. Beautiful-The Carole King Musical features some great musical
hits by Carole King such as “It Might As Well Rain until September”, “Take Good
Care of my Baby”, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”, “Locomotion”, “One Fine Day”,
“You’ve Got a Friend”, and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”! The show
also features “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling”, “On Broadway” and “Uptown” by songwriters
Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.
